Blackpool Fashion

I consider myself to be an out going and confident person and I have been told, on many occasions that I have and ability to lead. I am extremely passionate and enthusiastic about my career and always work to the best of my ability. I pride myself on being very motivated and wanting to succeed in life. I am very punctual and ensure that I always stick to deadlines. I am very creative and love to share ideas with other creative people; consequently I work really well as part of a team. I am studying a National Diploma in Fashion and Clothing which I enjoy enormously. During my time on this course, I have learned a great deal about fashion and gained invaluable experience. My achievements over the past two years include reaching the finals of a public art competition for my design of a windsock, having my design work as part of a public installation veiwed by over 40,000 people at the Blackpool Central Library and appearing on the front page of the Blacpool Evening Gazette displaying my work in a re-vamp collection called 'Combat Couture' with a follow up double page spread three days later. I have always had a huge interest in fashion and would love to succeed in the industry as a designer. I have applied to five universities all of which have a high reputaion within fashion. I believe my time at university will improve my skills immensely and help me to achieve the best possible career in the fabulous fashion industry.
